6.12 Derating Specifications
Consider derating when any of the following conditions are present.
•
Low air pressure operating above 1000 m (3281 ft)
•
High ambient temperature
•
High switching frequency
•
Low-speed operation
•
Long motor cables
•
Cables with a large cross-section
If these conditions are present, Danfoss recommends stepping up 1 power size.
