Camera Link HS Front End: Extracts the video data packets from the Camera Link HS port.
Image Buffer: Stores the video data using the model of video frames.
Cropper (Coarse): Horizontal cropper used when reading out from the memory.
Spatial Correction: Depending on the line scan camera, a spatial correction might need to be
applied by the frame grabber when acquiring multiple image planes (mono or RGB). Although
this feature is transparent to the user, one can query a feature of the camera to know the
spatial distance between the mono or color planes. The camera will take care of the fractional
part of the spatial distance, while the frame grabber will take care of the integer spatial
distance. When a spatial correction is applied by the frame grabber, the distance in lines
between the 1
st
and last plane (lets call this distance “D”) must be taken into account when
triggering camera lines. If a user wants to get 1024 lines, he will need to send an extra “D”
lines (1024 + “D” triggers) to the camera in order to get 1024 lines in the host buffer.
White Balance Gain: Applies White Balance Gain to RGB data.
FFC/FLC: Flat Field/Flat Line correction. Applies to Monochrome data only.
Lookup Tables: Apply lookup table transformation to the image.
Horizontal Flip: Performs the line data flip process.
Cropper (Fine): Crops the resulting image when used, using an 8-byte resolution.
Host DMA: Transfers the data from frame grabber into the host buffer memory. This module
will also perform the vertical flip if enabled.
