The following examples show the effect of varying contrast settings. The histograms reflect that
with larger contrast values, pixel values are stretched to the lower and upper limits (0 and 255,
respectively), with increasing saturation.
Note that the recommended settings (between 60 and 100) provide the greatest dynamic
range while minimizing saturation (as seen in the histograms below for contrast settings
of 50 and 100).
