Air bag
Caution
Caution
You cannot re-use SRS airbag when it has
been activated once. Please be sure to
replace at the factory Daihatsu service.
With operation of SRS air bag, gases such
as white smoke may appear. It is not a fire.
Inhalation of this gas, If you have a history
of suffering from the respiratory system
such as asthma, breathing may become
difficult. Make sure that it is safe even if the
occupants out of the vehicle, in this case,
be sure to come out to the outside of the
vehicle. In addition, please let in fresh air
and open the windows and doors. Further,
SRS airbag residue may remain after
operation It may attached to the skin
or eyes, please rinse with water as soon
as possible. If you have a weak skin, it
may irritate the skin on rare occasions.
You may see by SRS front passenger airbag
is inflated, such as during a collision, the
front window glass of a vehicle may be
damaged.
In the following cases, please consult the
factory Daihatsu service always. Attempting
to do it yourself,may activate the SRS air
bagunexpectedly, leading to an unexpected
accident or malfunction.
When you remove the steering wheel
When
you repair
the vehicle front
When disposing of the SRS air bag please
consult the factory Daihatsu service. The
SRS airbag can activate unexpectedly,
causing an injury.
When there is a crack in the SRS air bag
housing, or it is cracked, replace at the
Daihatsu service. The SRS airbag may not
work properly, such as when you have a
collision, resulting in injury.
