If the need arises
Treatment in case of emergency
Emergency signal flare is a tool to use when a
failure occurs in the highway or railroad crossing.
Location
It is installed at the bottom left glove box.

Caution
It should only be used as an emergency
signal.
Do not let children touch it! Flares ignited by
mischief, could lead to an unexpected
accident.
Should be avoided when using flares,
because there is a risk of burns and towards
the face and body.
Avoid using near flammable materials such
as gasoline, there is danger of fire.
Do not use in a tunnel. Please signal with a
flashlight and emergency flashing lights.

Please read flare Usage Notes in advance.
When you use the flares, also please use
flashing lights.
Since there is an expiration date on the
flares, please check in advance.
For breakdown service, contact a professional or
Daihatsu factory service for movement of the
broken-down car, please also carry lift 4 wheel drive
vehicle loading. (Please refer to the network at the
end of the book Daihatsu Service "Maintenance
note the separate", the JAF road service.)
Never simply lift the rear wheel traction,
the vehicle becomes unstable.
If the car is 4WD, please do not absolutely
tow by picking the only rear or front wheel.
With luck transportable lift the rear wheel
only, the drive device is damaged, it may
jump out of the car from tow truck (dolly) or
front wheel.
If using a tow rope, please note the following
below
Before you tow
There is no ability to tow another vehicle.
Please do not put a rope tow,to another
vehicle's car body.
Before towing with a rope, check with your
service Daihatsu factory, that there is no
fault in the drive system.
If there is a
possibility of failure of the drive system do
not tow by rope.
