Skilled personnel
It is advisable that installation be carried out by competent, skilled personnel in
possession of the technical qualifications required by the specific legislation in
force.
The term
skilled personnel
means persons whose training, experience and instruction, as well
as their knowledge of the respective standards and requirements for accident prevention and
working conditions, have been approved by the person in charge of plant safety, authorizing
them to perform all the necessary activities, during which they are able to recognize and avoid
all dangers. (Definition for technical personnel IEC 364)
The appliance is not intendend for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsable for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5.2.
Safety
Use is allowed only if the electric system is in possession of safety precautions in accordance with the
regulations in force in the country where the product is installed.
5.3.
Responsibility
The Manufacturer does not vouch for correct operation of the aerators or for any damage
that they may cause if they have been tampered with, modified and/or run outside the
recommended work range or in contrast with other indications given in this manual.
The Manufacturer declines all responsibility for possible errors in this instructions
manual, if due to misprints or errors in copying. The Manufacturer reserves the right to

INSTALLATION
6.1.
The aerator generates an upward thrust through the impeller. For this reason the aerator must be
fixed so as to avoid twisting or movements.
6.2.
During assembly it is particularly necessary to ensure that the product is correctly immersed at a
minimum depth of 20 cm. If this minimum depth of installation is not respected, overheating of
the motor occurs which could cause the tripping of the thermal overload protection.
6.3.
All the power cables of the aerator and of the pumps used must be firmly secured and must not
enter the sewage. In this way the rotating impeller cannot come in contact with the cables and
damage them.
6.4.
A 90° bend must be fixed onto the threaded suction mouth with suitable gaskets and then fixed to
a suction pipe with a pipe tightening clamp.
Attention: the aerator must be installed in vertical position!
7.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
Attention: always respect the safety regulations!
Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the data plate and
THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A GOOD EARTH CONNECTION
.
7.1.
It is recommended to equip fixed pumping stations with a device with a differential trip
current lower than 30 mA.
7.2.
The single-phase motors are equipped with built-in thermal overload protection and can be
connected directly to the mains.
NB:
if the motor is overloaded it stops automatically.
Once it has
cooled it starts again automatically without requiring any manual intervention.
