2. APPLICATIONS
The submerged motor aerators of the Novair series are designed for the aeration of sewage in small waste
water treatment plants. Further possibilities of use are for example in the oxygenation of garden ponds and
fish farms. For this type of application it is necessary to take due precautions to prevent fish or animals
coming in contact with the product.
For the use of aerators it is necessary to comply with the respective national laws and provisions, as well as
local provisions, such as:
Safety of electrical appliances for domestic use (e.g. in Germany DIN EN 60335-2-41)
Installation of low voltage systems (e.g. in Germany VDE 0100 (30 mA FI))
These pumps cannot be used in swimming pools, ponds or basins where people are
present, or for the treatment of hydrocarbons (petrol, diesel fuel, combustible oils,
solvents, etc.) in accordance with the accident-prevention regulations in force.
