Menu Bar
The Menu Bar consists of four items;
Configure
,
Events
,
Options
and
Help
:
Configure
The Configure menu contains three options; Add, Edit, and Delete. They enable users to add new KVM-410 units to
the KVM-410 List, edit the information for units already listed, or delete units from the list.
To add a KVM-410 to the Log Server KVM-410 List, click Add. A dialog box appears:
Address
This can be the IP address of the
KVM-410 or it’s DNS name.
Port
The Log Server port number assigned
to the KVM-410. The default Log
Server port is 9001.
Description
Add a descriptive reference for the
KVM-410 to help identify it.
Limit
This specifies the number of days
that an event should be kept in the
Log Server’s database. Events that
exceed the time limit specified here
can be removed with the
Maintenance
button.
Fill in the fields as required and
Click OK
.
To edit or delete a listed KVM-410, first select the unit you want to edit or delete from the
KVM-410 List
, then open the
Configure
menu and select
Edit
or
Delete
. The same dialog box appears when editing existing units.
