Automatically “Always” policy will become active. The same thing can be
used with the “One-week” policy also.
Policy (Firewall) Rules
The Router allows you to specify a range of IP addresses, MAC addresses,
and Domain names for connections between computers on the WAN and
computers on user's LAN that will be controlled. The default firewall rules
of Router are as following: allow all network traffics going to WAN or
network traffics coming from WAN to access virtual server, deny network
traffic coming from WAN to access web management of Router.
Port Filter Status
- Port Filter Policy used to allow or deny network
packets both coming from and going to the WAN is based on the
Transport type and port number. When Enable is selected, the packet in
the port filter list will be allowed to pass through the firewall. For
outbound packet, it will also go through IP Range Filter, Domain Filter,
and MAC Filter check. When Disable is selected, all packets will pass
through the firewall.
IP Range Filter Status
- When Enable is selected, the IP Filter will be
applied to packets going to the WAN. The packet in the IP filter list will
be dropped. When Disable is selected, the packet in the IP filter list will
not be dropped.
MAC Filter Status - When Enable is selected, the MAC Filter will be
applied to packets going to the WAN. The packet in the MAC filter list
will be dropped. When Disable is selected, the packet in the MAC filter
List will not be dropped .
Domain Filter Status
- When Enable is selected, the Domain Filter will
be applied to packets going to the WAN. The packet in the Domain filter
list will be dropped. When Disable is selected, the packet in the Domain
filter list will not be dropped.
Port Filter -
The Router allows you to specify a range of TCP or UDP
ports for connections between computers on the WAN and computers on
your LAN that will be controlled. These TCP or UDP ports are entered on
