3.8.3.2 Status–Multicast-Multicast Status

This page shows the multicast routing table which is constructed by PIM-
SM protocol.
Source IP address:
Source
IP address is the IP address of the Host which
is acting as the source for a given multicast group. If the entry shows *,
then it means it is any source entry. i.e. it is a wild-card entry.
Group IP address:
Group
IP address is the IP Address of the multicast
group for which entry is made in the routing table.
RP IP address:
RP
IP address is the IP Address of the rendezvous point
for the given multicast group.
Flags:
This field shows the flags which tells the type of the routing entry.
Flag can be any one of the following:
•
WC : It is a wild-card entry.
•
SPT: It is a shortest Path entry.
•
Cache: It is a cache entry.
