15.How   do   I   upgrade   the   Mirmware   on   my   router?

   

Warning:   A   firmware   upgrade   should   only   be   carried   out   over   a   wired   connecQon   between   

your   computer   and   the   router.   Do   not   power   off   the   router   at   any   Qme   during   the   firmware   

upgrade   procedure,   as   this   may   damage   the   unit.   

Step   1:   Download   the   latest   firmware   for   your   DIR   Series   router   from   

h=p://www.dlink.com/

support

   or   your   local   D-­‐Link   support   website.

Step   2:   Once   you´ve   downloaded   the   firmware,   open   a   web   browser   such   as   Internet   

browser   and   enter   h=p://dlinkrouter,   h=p://dlinkrouter.local,   or   h=p://192.168.0.1   into   the   

address   bar.

Step   3:   Enter   your   login   informaQon.   If   you   have   not   changed   the   default   seTngs,   the   

username   is   Admin   and   the   password   field   should   be   led   blank.   Click
