From Each Mac:

When you wish to disconnect your USB drive from your D-Link SharePort Plus enabled DIR-890L and ensure that no data is lost or corrupted, click

on the USB storage device in the SharePort Plus application and press the disconnect button.

Click yes to confirm you wish to stop using the device. You may then physically disconnect your USB storage device from your D-Link SharePort

Plus device’s USB port.
