The fork drop-out must be 10mm wide. 

 

 

 

 

10mm drop-outs are standard for the vast majority of forks. However, some drop-outs may 
be 9mm wide. To enable the motor to fit inside, it is okay to use a metal file to scrape off 
excess paint and widen the drop-outs to 10mm. Be EXTREMELY careful not to file too much.
