Chapter 12 - Handlebar controls

Start by removing the grips from your handlebar:
Tip: Lift the grip with a screw driver and squirt slippery material underneath. This can be
WD-40, bike-oil or even a homemade mix of water and washing up liquid.
Hairspray also works great as it acts as a lubricant when wet and as an adhesive when dry.
Perfect for working with grips!

E-brakes
E-brakes are like regular brake levers but with the added
function that they cut the electrical power when used.
Your kit will function regardless whether you choose to fit
the e-brakes or not.
If your brake-levers are integrated with gear-shifters,
you won’t be able to fit the e-brakes.
Same goes for Hydraulic Brakes.
