PR2000 Installation Guide
3.6 Troubleshooting the Ethernet interface
If you were not able to Ping and/or telnet to/from other servers in the LAN
Network, please check the following:
•
Make sure the connections from the PR2000 to the Ethernet
hub/switch are correct. Verify that the "Link" LED on the back panel
of the PR2000 is on, indicating that the Ethernet physical link is
correctly terminated.
•
Review the Ethernet LAN configuration in this chapter. Make sure
you entered the correct IP address and subnet mask. The PR2000
must be assigned an IP address that is part of the Ethernet LAN IP
network. This address must be unique. If you are using IPX, make
sure the that the LAN Network number is correct and is the same as
for all other devices connected to the LAN.
