Secure the console backs.
A.
While being sure not to pinch any cables, use a Phillips head
screwdriver to secure the lower console back to the handrail with three
screws removed during step 2C.
B.
While being sure not to pinch any cables, use a Phillips head
screwdriver to secure the the top console back to the console front with
five screws removed during step 2A. See Figure 24.
CSAFE Board
Tools Required
• Phillips head screwdriver
1.
Disconnect the external power source.
A.
Turn the main power switch above the power inlet to the off (O) position.
B.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2.
Remove the top console back.
NOTE:
If you have a cable plugged into the RJ-45 port disconnect it.
A.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the five screws securing the
top console back to the console front.
B.
Gently pull off the top console back.
3.
Remove the CSAFE board.
A.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two Phillips head screws
holding the CSAFE board and ground jumper in place.
B.
Gently pull the CSAFE board down to disconnect it from the display
board. See Figure 25.
4.
Attach the CSAFE board.
A.
Place the CSAFE board in position and push up to connect it to the
display board.
B.
Place the ground jumper terminal over one of the screw holes on the
CSAFE board (and secure it in the next step).
C.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, secure the two screws on the CSAFE
board.
5.
Secure the console back.
A.
While being sure not to pinch any cables, attach the top console back
to the console front with the five Phillips head screws.
