The Patch contains a lithium coin cell battery that must be removed prior to disposal.Disposeof the
batteryin compliance with local regulations.
Removal of the battery should be performed as follows:
Find the end of the Patch where the coin cell is located (there is a bump in the white top
cover) - If the backing is sticky, you may fold the patch in half.
Using a pair of scissors, cut a small slit in the top cover (white foam material) near the base
of the battery in the location shown (Figure 23).
Tear an opening in the top cover large enough to grab the battery (Figure 24).
Hold the battery between the thumb and finger of one hand and the rest of the Patch
between the thumb and finger of the other and pull in opposite directions (Figure 25).
The battery and two metal tabs that connect the battery to the Patch will release from the
Patch
The Patch can then be disposed.

Caution:
Do not expose the Patches to fire or heat sources as they contain a battery thatcould
explode.

Replacing the Patch
The Patch is designed for single-use and overnight wear only.
You should replace the Patchfor any of the following:
You are starting a new sleep monitoring period
The Sensor and Patch separate during use
The Patch does not adhere to the skin
You receive a System Notification that indicates that Patch replacement is necessary
