The Ribbon cable from the Control Panel in the keytop to JN13
•
The four wire cable from the Speakers to JN12
•
The CD-ROM Flex Cable (if present) to JN16
Make certain the front of the keytop is latched on the base unit notches correctly and
replace the keytop over the base unit carefully. Then, turn over the unit and replace
the four Phillips screws in the base.
NOTE
: Upon hardware configuration completion, CMOS setup should
be run to ensure that system information is correct.
3.7.4 Power On the Unit
Carefully check all major components such as CPU, Memory, Hard Disk Drive,
Optical Drive and all optional parts have been properly installed inside, and the unit
has been tightly screwed, you can now connect all external devices and power it on.
External devices required:
1. Connects a display monitor with analog VGA input to the VGA port, or
connects a display monitor with digital DVI-D input to the optional DVI port
2. Connects a USB or PS/2 Mouse to any USB or the PS/2 Mouse port
3. Connect all other peripherals to their dedicated ports
4. Connects the AC power adapter (provided with the unit) to the DC-IN jack
5. Connects the AC power cord, insert the adapter plug side to the AC power
adapter, the 3-Pin power plug side to the 3-hole wall electric outlet
Turn on the unit, a splash screen will be displayed immediately after the POST tone:
