Selecting the Pulse Duration
Pulse duration, or pulse
width, refers to the amount of time during which therapeutically effective laser
energy is delivered, measured in milliseconds (ms). Select the desired pulse duration by pressing the
and
buttons next to the
Pulse Duration
display.
NOTE
When you reach the minimum pulse duration setting for the current
treatment parameters, the
button
is disabled; when you reach
the maximum pulse duration setting for the current treatment
parameters, the
button is disabled. Changing the fluence and/
or spot size settings may make available a wider range of pulse
duration settings.
