Battery terminal covers

Bicycles with Rack Mounted Batteries are equipped with battery terminal cover(s)

(see photo). These protect the battery terminals from debris and water when the

terminal is not in use (i.e. when the battery is removed from the bike).

These battery terminal covers need to be removed in order for the battery to make

contact with terminals.
