1 No values on the dis-
play.
Display battery empty?
Replace display battery (CR2032). Re-pairing display, speed sensor and recharge-
able battery (see chapter
“pairing and search”
).
2 Command selection
doesn’t work with con-
trol element.
Are buttons on control ele-
ment operable?
Contact your CUBE dealer.
3 Battery’s state of charge
not visible on display.
1. Rechargeable battery and
display are not paired.
Carry out pairing
a. Also wake up speed sensor with magnet. Make sure there are no other speed
sensors within a radius of 5 metres.
b. Press ON-button on battery for about 5 seconds, until first LED glows.
c. Release ON-button (4 LEDs run up and down, battery in pairing mode).
d. Press simultaneously upper and middle button on display control element
for 2 seconds until “Pair?“ shows up on the display. Release buttons and confirm
with middle button. Rechargeable battery and speed sensor are re-paired.
2. Rechargeable battery is
empty.
Try to charge the battery.
3. Failure of rechargeable
battery
Contact your CUBE dealer.
4 There is no drive.
Check whether magnetic
connector is clean.
Remove objects sticking due to magnet from the connector.
Contact your CUBE dealer.
5 No speed values on the
display.
1. Speed sensor sleeps
Awake speed sensor with magnet. Display searches cyclically for sensors.
Wait for 20 seconds.
2. Speed sensor’s battery
empty
Replace battery (CR2032). Carry out re-pairing (see item 3).
3. Speed sensor is not paired Carry out re-pairing (see item 3). Make sure there are no other woken up speed
sensors within a radius of 5 metres.
