Do not dispose of the rechargeable battery with normal
household rubbish. There are special disposal systems for
rechargeable batteries. Contact your CUBE dealer.

Unintended switching on of the drive can result in injuries.
Therefore, always remove the rechargeable battery be-
fore doing any mounting or servicing on your CUBE EPO
pedelec.

Damaged electric assemblies and cables can result in
short-circuits and must be replaced by a CUBE dealer.

Use the rechargeable battery for your CUBE EPO pedelec

Removing the Rechargeable Battery
Before removing the seat post battery, make sure the magnetic
connector is no longer connected to the charging socket of the re-
chargeable battery

. You can disconnect the magnetic connector
that leads from the drive to the battery with a slight jolt.
Note the marking on the seat post rear

and memorise the height
that is adjusted to your needs, before removing the seat post.
Subsequently, open the Pinhead®-locking system at the seat post
clamping

of your CUBE EPO pedelec, as described in chapter
“how to use the pinhead®-locking system“
, and remove the seat
post battery carefully

Release the magnetic connector at the bottom end of the seat post
battery and make sure the cable keeps out of the seat tube

can hook the cable connector into the recess at the rear top end of
the seat tube
