Pin Designations
The SIO cable contains an 8-pin RJ45 connector. The CN1100LX Node
has 4 SIO channels. The SIO transmits the high-level analog sensor data
from the SIO signal conditioning circuitry along with the digital TEDS
information. In addition, the SIO cable supplies 5 VDC excitation from the
Node to the signal conditioning electronics in the SIO, which in turn can
provide 5 VDC excitation to the sensor.
