Externally powered (Node powered) sensor connections, illustrated in
Figure 18, are:
a. Sensor ground (Ground) to the external power supply ground.
b. Sensor power (Vcc) to the external power supply output.
c. Sensor output (Out) to SIO pin 2.
d. External power supply ground to SIO pin 3.

Current Sensor (SIO model SC210)
This SIO interfaces to sensors with current outputs in the range of ± 20 mA
maximum. The SIO inputs/outputs on the terminal block are shown in
Table 4.

Current sensor connections, illustrated in Figure 19, are:
a. Refer to the previous section on Voltage Sensor for internally or
externally powered sensors for the power connections.
b. Connect the sensor output current to pin 2.
c. Connect pin 3 to a local ground.
