The following guide should be used to properly maintain unit. These
procedures should be carried out only by qualified service technicians.
Certain procedures need to be completed by Crest are noted by a
star (*), contact Crest when service is required.
Preventive maintenance is not covered under warranty.

Routine Maintenance
Recommended frequency of inspection is monthly. Usage and utility conditions may
require inspections. Tasks are defined on a yearly basis.

PREPARATION FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
1.1 Discuss equipment operation with department personnel.

1.2 Before servicing equipment, use Lockout-Tagout practices. Always follow local
occupational health and safety regulations, as well as electric and plumbing codes.

1.3 Check overall appearance of unit for signs of damage.

1.4 Inspect lid gasket(s).

1.5 Check CLEANING Chamber strainer for debris, clean as required.

1.6 For Sonic Console Chamber for debris,
clean as required.

1.7 Inspect/clean air filter.

1.8 Verify proper operation of access panel interlocks.

1.9 Inspect floor and inside of unit for evidence of leaks.

1.10 Ensure unit has proper labels.

2.1 Clean lint and dirt from components.
