3.4.2 Operation
Prepare and process lumened surgical instruments as follows:
1. Insert Ten Position Terminal Block (see Figure 3-4) into Terminal
Block Retainer. Slide retainer over Instrument Tray rear wall.
NOTE: Ten Position Terminal Block may be repositioned for
convenience by sliding Terminal Block Retainer left or right.
Attach Instrument Support to Instrument Tray front wall with tips
or ends pointing down for drainage.
Connect Instrument Tubing to Terminal Block using quick-
disconnect side of tubes.
Attach large main tube to Terminal Block and to Large Quick-
Connect Fitting on underside of lid.
Position instruments as follows:
a. Position up to Ten instruments into Instrument Tray and
connect Luer-Lock of Instrument Tubing to instrument luer-
lock connecting port.
