3.2 Controls and
Indicators
The Ultrasonic Cleaning System operational controls consist of three
types: pushbuttons, indicator light and digital timer. The other main
operator interaction controls consist of the lid(s) mechanical foot pedal,
and generator power switch.
3.2.1 Operator Controls and
Indicators
The Ultrasonic Cleaning System contains the following operator
controls and indicators (see Figure 3-1 and Figure 3-2):

MAIN POWER ON/OFF:
Use this lighted pushbutton to turn
Ultrasonic Cleaning System power on/off. When pushbutton is ON
power is available from facility. Cycle timer(s) automatically activates
.
FILL:
Use this pushbutton to activate the fill phase of the Wash Cycle.
When pressed, fill solenoid circuit activates and drain valve is disabled.
DRAIN ALERT:
Indicator light comes ON when it is necessary to
drain the Wash tank.
DRAIN:
Use this pushbutton to order wash tank drainage. When
pressed, drain valve actuates and fill solenoid circuit deactivates.
STOP:
Use this pushbutton to immediately halt all Ultrasonic Cleaning
System functions. When pressed, facility power is disconnected from
system circuits.
LID:
Use this pushbutton to interrupt cycle and raise lid.
Timer(s):
Use digital timer to set Wash Cycle
