OPERATORS INSTRUCTIONS

This section describes the Unit’s operating control,
daily pre-operation checks, and maintenance
procedures to be performed by the operator.

CAUTION:  PROTECT THE UNIT
FROM FREEZING CONDITIONS.
WATER FREEZING IN THE SYSTEM

WILL CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE.
MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL CAN DRAIN
LINES IF FREEZING CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED.

OPERATING CONTROLS

Dispensing valve lever, located on front of the
dispensing valve, need only to be pressed to
dispense product.

OPERATION

To operate the Unit, place cup or glass under the
dispensing valve nozzle. Press valve lever down until
cup or glass is full, then release lever.

DAILY PRE-OPERATION CHECK

1. Check primary CO

2

 regulator assembly

1800-psi gage and if gage indicator is in shaded
(“change CO

2

 cylinder”) portion of the dial, CO

2

cylinder is almost empty and must be changed.

2. Make sure there is sufficient amount of

concentrate in all of the bag-in-boxes. If not,
replenish concentrate supply as instructed.

3. Make sure drip tray and cup rest are clean and

cup rest is properly installed in the drip tray.

ADJUSTMENTS

ADJUSTING DISPENSING VALVE WATER
FLOW RATE

Water flow rate should be checked periodically to
make sure water flow rate is as desired. Refer to
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE section of this
manual for adjustment procedure.

ADJUSTING WATER-TO-SYRUP “RATIO” OF
DISPENSED PRODUCT

Water-To-syrup “Ratio” of dispensed product should
be checked periodically and adjusted if necessary.
Refer to SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE section of
this manual for adjustment procedure.

ADJUSTING PRIMARY CO

2

 REGULATOR

Primary CO

2

 regulator for the bag-in-box concentrate

pumps should be checked periodically for proper
pressure setting and adjusted if necessary. Refer to
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE section of this
manual for adjustment procedure.

CLEANING AND SANITIZING

DAILY CLEANING OF UNIT

Daily cleaning procedure for Unit should be
performed at end of daily operation. Refer to
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE section for
instructions.

WEEKLY CLEANING OF DISPENSING
VALVES

Dispensing valve should be cleaned at least once a
week. Refer to SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
section  for instructions.

SANITIZING CONCENTRATE SYSTEM

Concentrate system should be sanitized as
instructed every 90 days. Refer to SERVICE AND
MAINTENANCE section for instructions.

REPLENISHING CONCENTRATE SUPPLY

Concentrate supply should be checked daily and
replenished if necessary. Refer to SERVICE AND
MAINTENANCE section for instructions.

WARNING:  CO

2

 Displaces Oxygen.

Strict Attention must be observed in
the prevention of CO

2

 (carbon

dioxide) gas leaks in the entire CO

2

 and soft

drink system. If a CO

2

 gas leak is suspected,

particularly in a small area, immediately
ventilate the contaminated area before
attempting to repair the leak. Personnel
exposed to high concentration of CO

2

 gas

will experience tremors which are followed
rapidly by loss of consciousness and
suffocation.
