3. Lower Unit into operating position on countertop

to complete seal from Unit base to countertop.
Install and tighten screws.

4. Apply additional sealant around bottom of Unit

base. Seal must have a minimum radius of
1/2–inch to prevent crevices and to insure a
complete seal.

5. If applicable, install DRIP TRAY (item 2) on the

Unit, then place CUP REST (item 1) in the drip
tray.

INSTALLATION

Place Unit in selected location and make connections
as follows:

CONNECTING PLAIN WATER SOURCE LINE
TO UNIT

(see Figure 2)

Notes:

A.

A water shutoff valve and a water filter
are recommended for use at the plain
water source. IMI Cornelius Water Filter
P/N 313860-000 and Quick Disconnect
Set P/N 313867-000 are suggested.

B.

The water source line should be
food-grade flexible plastic long enough
to allow the Unit to be moved for
maintenance and cleaning.

C.

Water line connection on the rear of the
Unit is 7/16 male fitting for a 1/4 in. O.D.
water line. a 7/16-20 adapter fitting (item
4) is provided with loose-shipped parts,
as an option to be used in connecting a
3/8 in. O.D. water line.

D.

A saddle valve (IMI Cornelius P/N
315664-000) or equivalent may be used
to tap into a source of plain water.

1. Flush Plain water source thoroughly before

connecting to Unit.

2. At rear of the Unit, connect plain water source

to 1/4 inch flare (7/16-20) male fitting labeled
‘‘WATER’’. Use TAPERED GASKET (item 3).

CONNECTING CONCENTRATE SOURCE
LINE TO UNIT

(see Figure 2)

1. At the rear of the Unit, connect .265  I.D.

concentrate source line to the 1/4 in. flare (7/16)
male fitting. Seal connections using TAPERED
GASKETS (item 3).

2. Connect other end of concentrate source line,

connected to the Unit, to outlet fitting on
bag-in-box concentrate pump.

3. Connect concentrate source line, from

bag-in-box location, to inlet fitting on bag-in-box
concentrate pump.

4. Connect other end of concentrate source line,

connected to concentrate pump inlet fitting, to a
bag-in-box connector. DO NOT CONNECT
CONCENTRATE BAG-IN-BOX INTO SYSTEM
AT THIS TIME.

PREPARING UNIT FOR OPERATION

ADJUSTING WATER FLOW RATE OF
DISPENSING VALVE

1. Open shutoff valve in plain water source line.

2. Inspect connections for leaks.

3. The dispensing valve water flow rate should be

approximately five ounces of water dispensed in
a four-second period. Adjust water flow valve as
instructed in SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
section of this manual.

INTO SYSTEM

1. Sanitize concentrate system as instructed in

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE section of this
manual.

2. Connect full concentrate bag-in-box into the

concentrate system.

3. Dispense from dispensing valve until all air is

purged from the concentrate system and a solid
flow of concentrate is dispensed.

4. Check concentrate system for leaks and repair if

evident.

ADJUSTING WATER-TO-CONCENTRATE
“RATIO” OF DISPENSED PRODUCT

Adjust Water-To Concentrate “Ratio” of dispensed
product as instructed in SERVICE AND
MAINTENANCE section of this manual.

INSTALLING PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
DECAL KIT (ITEM

5)
