5. Place the ratio cup on a level surface and note
the concentrate and water levels. The
concentrate and water levels should be the
same.
6. If concentrate and water levels are not the
same, turn the concentrate flow regulator
adjusting screw (Figures 3) counterclockwise
1/4 turn for less concentrate or clockwise 1/4
turn to provide more concentrate.

7. Repeat Water-To-Concentrate “Ratio” test and
adjust concentrate flow regulator as many times
as necessary until proper ratio of dispensed
drink is achieved.

with acorn nut.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING
DAILY CLEANING
1. Remove cup rest from drip tray.
2. Wash drip tray in place on Unit,
3. Wash cup rest, then rinse cup rest with clean
water. Install cup rest in drip tray.
4. Clean all external surfaces of Unit with sponge.
Rinse out sponge with clean water, then wring
excess water out of sponge and wipe off
external surfaces on Unit. Wipe until dry with a
clean soft cloth. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE
TYPE CLEANERS.
WEEKLY CLEANING OF DISPENSING VALVE
The following dispensing valve cleaning instructions
are done without removing the valve from the Unit.
The purpose of these cleaning instructions is to
remove only external residue from the valve and it’s
baffle and nozzle.
1. Remove acorn nut securing dispensing valve
cover, then remove cover.
2. Remove nozzle and baffle assembly from valve.
3. Place waste container under the dispensing
valve.
4. Slowly pour warm water over the dispensing
valve.
5. Wash nozzle and baffle assembly in warm water
only. Use of detergents may give the product an
off-flavor.
6. Install baffle and nozzle assembly on the
dispensing valve. Low pressure gas may be
used to blow excess water off valves.
7. Place cover on the dispensing valve and secure
with acorn nut.
SANITIZING CONCENTRATE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT: Only qualified personnel should
perform sanitizing procedure.
The concentrate system should be sanitized every
90 days following Sanitizer Manufacturer’s
recommendations. Use Chlor-tergent (Oakite
Products Inc.) or equivalent sanitizer. Proceed as
follows.
1. Close plain water inlet line shutoff valve to the
Unit.
2. Disconnect concentrate line quick-disconnect
connector from the bag-in-box concentrate
container.
3. Wash the concentrate line quick disconnect
connector in warm water.
4. Using a clean plastic 5-gallon container, prepare
4 gallons of sanitizing solution as follows:
A.
Pour 4 gallons of water at a temperature
between 70
°
F to a maximum of 100
°
F
into the 5-gallon container.
B.
Add to the container and mix thoroughly
0.67 ounce of Chlor-Tergent or equivalent
sanitizer per gallon to provide a solution of
200 ppm of chlorine.
5. Install a bag valve cut from an empty bag-in-box
container on the concentrate line quick
disconnect connector.
