Disconnect the plugs (Figure 53/1 and 4) from the unit
controller board.

Place the touchscreen on a suitable, antistatic surface.
5.
Remove the fastening bolt (Figure 53/3) from the cover
(Figure 53/2).
6.
Lift the cover (Figure 53/2) of the unit controller board.
7.
Disconnect the plug (Figure 54/2) from the unit controller
board.
8.
Remove the fastening screws (Figure 54/1) from the
touchscreen cover (Figure 54/3).
9.
Lift the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1).
10. Disconnect the plugs (Figure 55/2 and 3) from the unit
controller board.
11. Lift and remove the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1).
When removing the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1),
pull out all disconnected cables and plugs through the
opening of the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1).
12. Pull the touchscreen panel (Figure 56/1) from the touch-
screen (Figure 56/2).
13. Depending on which assembly is damaged, replace
either the touchscreen panel (Figure 56/1) or the touch-
screen (Figure 56/2).
14. Place the touchscreen panel (Figure 56/1) onto the
touchscreen (Figure 56/2).
15. Insert all disconnected cables and plugs through the
opening of the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1).
16. Position the touchscreen cover (Figure 55/1) on the
touchscreen (Figure 56/2).
