Symptom
Problem
Solution
My image(s) is black when loaded
into my PC.
The erasing process has not yet
completed while the user is trying to
take the next photo.
The user connects the G3 camera to the
PC while the camera is processing
images.
Wait until the erasing is completed before
taking a photo.
Make sure that the image processing is
completed before connecting to your PC.
My CD Installation wizard does
not work.
Go to the computer desktop. Right click
on "My Computer". Click "Properties".
Select "Device Manager". Double click on
"CD-ROM", double click on "CD-R"
(normally the manufacturer's name).
Click on "Settings". Ensure "Auto insert
notification" is ticked and the
"disconnect" is ticked. If you change the
settings the computer will ask you to
restart your PC. Click "Yes".
The auto installation file is switched to
off.

The CD ROM is disconnected.
The LCD on My G3 has frozen.
Ensure you only use a new
CompactFlash™ card for use with your
G3 . Cards that have been used for other
devices may contain material that has
caused your G3 memory to become
confused. Upload any images to your
computer and then remove and reinstall
the batteries in
G 3
.
No response from any of the function
buttons.
The image counter on the LCD is
flashing after I took my last
image.
Wait for the LCD to stop flashing and
then take your next image. You may
need to wait a further 20 seconds before
taking the next image.
The G3 is processing the image.
The Flash icon and the image
counter on the LCD is flashing
after I took my last image using
the Flash Mode.
I get a blurred image when
uploading my images to my
computer.
There may be a momentory delay
between pressing the shuttle button and
the actual exposure.
Hold your G3 steady until you hear a
"beep" which indicates the exposure is
completed.
Wait for this process to complete.
G3 allows for 3 continuous images to be
taken.
I press the shuttle button and get
no response.
Wait for the LCD to stop flashing and
ensure the Green LED is lit inside the
Viewfinder.
The G3 is processing the image and
recharging the flash unit.
I cannot access any
PhotoFantasy's templates.
If you need to change batteries, and
retain the images in your G3 ’s memory,
ensure you are connected to a PC which
is turned on via the USB cable, which will
then draw power from the PC whilst you
inserting new batteries.
This means there is insufficient power to
upload images to your computer.
No CD in CD-ROM drive. Put G3 CD in CD ROM drive.
My image quality is grainy. I may have selected the wrong
frequency setting on installation.
Uninstall "My Digital Camera" software.
Using the different frequency setting this
