FX-DS540-AP, FX-DS540-APP
Attaching the FX-DS110-CFC (option)
Attach the FX-DS110-CFC to this product if you want to use the product along with the FLEXLAN
DS110 series or another 11 Mbps wireless LAN device in the 2.4 GHz band.
To plug or unplug the FX-DS110-CFC, use the procedure below.
CAUTION
-
Before plugging or unplugging the FX-DS110-CFC, be sure to check that the AP power supply is
off.

Check the orientation of the FX-DS110-CFC and plug the card slowly. Applying excessive force to
the card may break the connector.
Plugging the FX-DS110-CFC
(1) Turn off the power supply to the AP to which the FX-DS110-CFC is to be connected.
(2) If the firmware storage CF card has been plugged in the CF2 slot, move that card from the CF2 slot
to the CF1 slot on the back. Attach the CF card clip to prevent the card from being detached.
The AP does not start with the firmware storage CF card unplugged.
(3) Plug the FX-DS110-CFC into the CF2 slot. Insert it with the insertion direction mark
face up.
(4) Turn on the power supply to the AP.
Unplugging the FX-DS110-CFC
(1) Turn off the power supply to the AP from which the FX-DS110-CFC is to be removed.
(2) Unplug the FX-DS110-CFC from the CF2 slot.
(3) Turn on the power supply to the AP.
