Customer Microphone Installation
STS-C100 Anti-Vandal Microphone with Glass Mount Kit
1. Separate the front and rear polycarbonate plates.
2. Feed one silicon gasket through the wire connected to the front
(customer-facing) polycarbonate plate.
3. Align the holes in the silicon gasket and the front polycarbonate plate.
Screw an 8-32 2” stud into every other hole (three total) to temporary hold
the alignment.
4. While standing on the customer-side, feed the wire cable attached to the
front polycarbonate plate through the opening of the glass barrier.
5. Hold the front polycarbonate plate flush to the opening in the glass
barrier and use tape to temporary secure the front polycarbonate plate to
the window.
6. Move to the staff side. Feed the second silicon gasket through the wire
and align the holes to slip onto the studs.
7. Determine the direction needed for the wire tubing (vertical or horizontal).
Align the plates accordingly.
8. Measure and cut the wire tubing to the desired length. Feed the wire
through the tubing until reaching the end. (Please note the tubing may be
bent to a desired configuration)
9. Align and place the rear (staff-facing) plate onto the studs.
10. Determine if the provided break-away 8-32 2” screws need to be cut
