Amplifier Setup
Our amplifier provides two-way communication and is compatible with all of
our speech transfer systems. It features individual displays for staff or
customer adjustments and individual fault lights for easy fault diagnosis.

Engineer’s Mode
Engineer’s mode allows for adjustments to ensure the amplifier is set to
optimum levels for its surrounding environment, providing the best
performance possible.
Note:
Ducking Adjustment and Hearing Loop Drive Adjustment should be
kept at factory default levels (see page 26) in the majority of circumstances.
If adjustments to either setting are required, please seek consultation from
Contacta’s technical department.
• Maximum Volume Adjustment
– Adjust the maximum volume level the
amplifier delivers to both customer and staff side speaker outputs. This
feature is to prevent staff members users from increasing the volume to
the point where audio feedback occurs.
• Ducking Adjustment
– Ducking adjusts customer and staff volumes to
provide ideal sound for each side during conversations, reducing
