(minimum thickness: 30 mm) to the rafter. If necessary,
remove counter batten in this area.

With rafters larger than 60 x 100 mm, the roof hook
can be mounted directly onto the rafter. Pre-drill rafter
using 5 mm drill. (See Fig. 27)

If this is not possible, a board with a thickness of min.
5 cm can be screwed onto two rafters as indicated in
Fig. 28. Hereby the roof hook can be moved to the left
or right side of the rafter. In this case the rafters must be
capable of bearing a load. Consult a structural engineer
in case of doubt.

6.3 Fitting the roof hooks with roof tiles
WARNING: System damage through
subsequent loosening of the long nuts
on the roof hooks.
When the nut is tightened, a lock is activated.

If the long nut is undone more than once,
secure it on site (such as with suitable adhe-
sive).
