10.4 Installing the end cap and intermediate panel
Only install the intermediate panel and end cap
after
the
hydrostatic test has been performed.
>
Insert the intermediate panel from below into the collec-
tor profile. [1.]
>
Press the intermediate panel forward until it audibly
locks into place. [2.]
>
Fix the end cap with a Torx T10. [3.]

10.5 Insulating the connection lines and pipework
>
Thermally insulate the pipework in the entire solar
circuit in accordance with regulations.
>
Thermally insulate the external pipework using material
which is resistant to UV rays, weather influences and
high temperatures (150 °C).
>
Insulate internal pipework with high temperature-resis-
tant (150 °C) material.
>
Protect the insulation against damage from birds if
required.
10.6 Removing the collector film
In order for the film to be removed residue-free, do not
leave the film on the collector for more than four weeks after
installation.
If the system cannot be commissioned after four
weeks:
>
Cover the collectors at the installation site.
>
Remove the film after commissioning the solar system.
