All IP addresses on a network or stand alone PC must be in the same IP address string. I.e.. 192.168.1.100
If your system does not support the IP series 192.168.1.239, which is the IP string address the PIA is
shipped with, you must re-assign the IP address of the PIA or your local PC. This can be done by
following the steps below.
Note: Be sure to check with your network administrator before proceeding.
CHANGING PC IP ADDRESS
1. Locate and Change IP Address.
a. Select
Start, Connect To, Show all Connections.
2.
Right click on your Local Area Connection and select
Properties.
3.
Right click
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and select
Properties.
4.
Select
Use the following IP address.
This will un-select Obtain an IP address
automatically.
5.
To the right of the IP address enter the new IP address.
192.168.1.235
.
6.
Enter the Subnet mask
255.255.255.0
.
7.
Select
OK
to exit the screen.
8.
Re-boot your PC and you are ready to log onto the PIA.
