With this configuration we can test the isolation of many others things that can be in contact with
a electrical source, for example we can test if one cable is properly insulated between different
points, for one conductor to another or the external non-conductor material to the internal
conductor.

If the green
Hipot Pass
LED is lit, the equipment being tested passed all test parameters, the
ground connection resistance is lower than the indicated in the setting, no breakdowns detected
and the leakage current is acceptable.
Red LED/Buzzer
Any red LED/buzzer test result means the equipment being tested failed a test phase. The
equipment should be set aside, reworked and retested with acceptable results before it is shipped.
