SCSI Cabling of a SMART-2
Array Controller Board
Refer to the following table and figure for an overview of cabling the
SMART-2 Controller to internal SCSI devices. Table 4-3 assumes that the
controller end of the Wide SCSI cable has not been connected to the
Integrated Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Controller.

Installed in Removable Media Area
1. Locate the Wide SCSI cable. No additional
cables are required.
2. Connect controller end of Wide SCSI cable to
SMART-2 Controller.
3. Connect wide to standard cable adapter to
device end of SCSI cable, if needed.
4. Connect an available connector on Wide SCSI
cable to the device(s).
5. Ensure SCSI ID uniquely set on each device.
6. Run System Configuration Utility.
