SCSI Cabling

The Compaq ProLiant 6400R server provides one hardwired and three
configurable SCSI buses for maximum configuration flexibility. This
flexibility, combined with a maximum of five optional, integrated dual-
channel Wide Ultra SCSI adapters (assuming the one expansion slot is
occupied by a NIC), allows a large number of possible SCSI configurations.

For information on SCSI adapters and configurations supported by the
Compaq ProLiant 6400R server, refer to the Compaq website:

This section discusses the SCSI buses, connectors, and special considerations.

SCSI Buses

The Compaq ProLiant 6400R server includes two SCSI buses. The SCSI B
bus, is hardwired from the Dual Channel Wide Ultra SCSI adapter channel B
