Use a G2 with the CAN-bus based G3 Display in IMO installation 

Note

: Installation described here is optional and only applies to IMO 

enabled device. Contact your ComNav dealer if you are not sure 
about your G2. 

Figure 18 shows how a G2 works with a G3 Display or multiple G3 Displays. Please be 
aware that this installation is not NMEA 2000 compliant, and should not be connected to 
an NMEA 2000 network without isolation. 
The total distance from G2 to the far-end G3 Display should not exceed 35 meters.
