Dual Channel FOU
without WDM
This is applicable when no integrated WDM is required.It implements the
connection between MU and RU through dual fiber. Each Dual Channel
FOU can serve two RUs.

and RU through single fiber. Each Dual Channel FOU with WDM can

3.4.1.2 MU Back Panel Connectors
Information in this section is provided for trained personnel, it is expected the MU shelf is pre-
configured and tested prior to shipment, and access to the rear of the MU shelf is not normally
required.
The rear of the MU shelf is protected by a screwed down back-cover, with the back-cover removed,
the backplane and RF connections are exposed. Operating the equipment without the MU back-cover
fitted is not recommended.
