The following are the introduction on the connectors of each FOU type.    
 

Single Channel FOU 

without WDM  

 

This is applicable when no integrated WDM is required. It implements 
the connection between MU and RU through dual fiber. Each single 
channel FOU can serve one RU. 

OP/Downlink 

FC/APC connector for downlink optical output port. 
It is connected to the “OP/Downlink” port of RU.

OP/Uplink 

FC/APC connector for uplink optical input port. It is 
connected to the “OP/Uplink” port of RU.

with WDM 

WDM unit integrated to implement the connection between MU and 
RU through single fiber. Each Single Channel FOU with WDM can 
serve one RU. (standard application)
