Controlling

Treadmill
via
Front
Panel
If
a
PC
is
not
available
for
treadmill
control
or
if
manual
control
is
desired,
the
front
panel
display
can
be
utilized.
5.6.0
Odometer
Reset
The
odometer
will
always
measure
the
distance
traveled
by
the
treadmill
belt
in
all
modes
of
operation.
When
the
experiment
has
begun,
typically,
the
odometer
is
reset
to
record
the
distance
the
subjects
have
run.
Press
the
black
round
button
in
the
lower
left
corner
of
the
Treadmill
Controller
to
reset
the
odometer
(F
‐
47).
The
odometer
will
begin
to
count
when
the
button
is
released.
Alternatively,
you
may
press
the
Clear
Dt
button
within
the
Treadmill
Software
Diagnostics
window.

Run
By
setting
the
“TREADMILL
BELT”
toggle
switch
to
“RUN”
the
result
will
be
an
adjusted
speed
correlating
to
the
value
set
by
the
“SPEED”
knob
(F
‐
48).
The
display
will
report
the
speed
value
set
by
the
“SPEED”
knob
and
the
mode
indicator
will
be
a
progress
bar
that
grows
from
left
to
right.

Accel
When
the
“TREADMILL
BELT”
toggle
switch
is
set
to
“ACCEL”,
then
the
treadmill
belt
speed
will
increase
from
the
speed
set
by
the
“SPEED”
knob
up
to
the
“MAX
SPEED”
setting
at
a
ramping
rate
calculated
from
the
acceleration
parameters
in
0.1m/min
steps
(F

49).
The
display
will
report
the
current
speed
of
the
treadmill
belt
and
the
mode
indicator
will
be
a
staircase
