The indicator changes to dark green ( ) during the frequency changes and once the frequency
is set, it changes to light green ( ), indicating the synthesizer is locked to the new frequency.

OTE
The arbitrary data rate you specify must be within the valid range. You can
set the arbitrary data rate to the minimum value (1.25 Gbps) or the
maximum value (14.5 Gbps) by clicking the arrow button at the left side of
the box and then select MIN or MAX, as shown below:

Configure the trigger out signal
For the internal clock synthesizer, you can specify the trigger-out divide ratio, which sets the
trigger-out frequency.
To specify the ratio, take the following steps:

Click the CLOCK tab at the lower-left part of the page.

Select an appropriate value from the TRIGGER OUT BAUD RATE DIVIDE RATIO drop-
down list.
The frequency value in the TRIGGER OUT box changes accordingly, as shown below:

To specify the trigger RF output power, select an appropriate value in the TRIGGER RF
OUTPUT POWER drop-down list box.
