13. Install the fork spring 
14. Connect the cartridge rod to the cap and tighten to 12 ft-lb (16 Nm). 
 
CAUTION: 
The damper rod is hollow and will break if the nut is over tightened (proper torque 
is 12 ft-lb, 16 Nm).
