To use a PIN code for the handset
If a PIN code is defined for the handset, it must be entered at startup and
when the screensaver is active.
Note that you
do not have to enter the PIN
to answer the phone when
it is ringing.
For information on how to set up the PIN code for the handset, see the
next section.
To set up the PIN code for the handset
To set up the PIN code for the handset, do as follows:
1. From the
Settings
menu, select
PIN
code
.
Note There may be 2 PIN codes for the system:
• one for the SwiftBroadband unit (SIM PIN, described in
Establishing a connection on page 9) and
• one for the AVIATOR Wireless Handset (described in this
section)
Important
If you have entered a wrong PIN code 5 times, the handset is
locked! Contact your distributor for an unblocking code.
