Starting a warm engine
1. Place the grass trimmer on a level surface.
2. Set the on/off switch to position

3. Hold the upper handle firmly.
4. Pull the starter handle until you feel some resistance (approx. 100 mm).
Pull the starter handle quickly and smoothly until the engine starts or up to 4 times.
5. If the engine doesn’t start repeat all steps in the
Starting a cold engine
section.
Shutting off the engine
Release the throttle and let the engine idle. Set the on/off switch to the
0
position.
