Examine the float needle seat. The bore of the seat should
be shiny brass in color with no varnish deposits. Polish the bore
with a roll of 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper to clean.

. Examine the Viton float needle tip; replace the needle if the
tip is damaged. Be sure that the float needle plunger is free to
move, and returns to the extended position when depressed.

Install the
needle jet
into the carb body. The rounded
end is towards the float bowl.

emulsion tube
and
main jet.
